Ok, who cursed me?
My tablet just broke, yesterday my phone broke and I somehow ripped the arse out of my best jeans. My wacom is on its last legs and my computer is circling the drain too. And I need a haircut.

I just signed for this course: Modern European Mysticism and Psychological Thought!
Start date is still to be announced, I really hope it goes ahead. Not sure how it will look on my CV but it certainly sounds interesting.

Redesigning my website
Sigh.
I think webdesign is like childbirth - you soon forget how difficult and painful it is and want to make another one. And then then the CSS validator says you’ve made loads of mistakes. And sometimes you get drugs. I dunno, I’ve never given birth. Drugs!

Not even remotely dead
I’m working on uploading a few more paintings to the site and thinking of giving the whole thing a massive overhaul. I might split my illust and paintings and illust into two sites. Or embed a blog on the main page. Or forsake splashpages. Or add lots more splash pages. I got options, yo.
I really need to work on my web presence in 2011, considering I let it slide last year. Speaking of web...

Thanatos
Just signed up for a trial membership of the thanatos archive. Ostensibly to help with my current series of paintings but also because I just love old mourning photos. Not in a ghoulish way, at least I dont think so, I just find it encouraging how people were so matter-of-fact and dignified about dying in those days. I think we should be less squeamish and engage with it more and remember...

I’m really stressed, and rather than working on the stuff I need to do, stress always paralyses me. I’m really strugging with everything, work, uni, housework.
I’ve also got a new doll to photograph and a new camera I want to start using but I have no idea when I’ll have time for them and when I’ll have the inclination to do anything.
